A Milestone for a more Responsible Production
At CERTEX Lifting, we are proud to announce a major milestone in our sustainability efforts. This year, together with the Lifting Solutions Group, we have achieved a consolidated audit coverage of 98% from our suppliers within our private label and unbranded products, as we reinforce what we believe in as a group. By partnering with suppliers who share our values and meet our code of conduct standards, we strive to have a supply chain that is aligned with our mission to create customer satisfaction and our core value of being good to work with.
Collaboration for a More Sustainable Growth
Our sustainability strategy is built on collaboration with our suppliers. By working together, we continuously enhance product quality and safety while social and environmental aspects remain central. This work process is guided by our group’s Supplier Code of Conduct, which sets the standards for ethical, environmental, and social practices. We have observed that suppliers who excel in ethical, social and environmental areas also often deliver high-quality products, benefiting everyone involved. In a competitive market like ours, there are various aspects to consider when distributing products. For this reason, our audits are a way to consistently improve all areas, allowing us to continuously offer our customers the best solutions on the market.
Thorough Audits for Long-Term Impact
As a distributor, we recognise that most of our products' environmental impact comes from our supply chain. While we do not directly control all the elements, we use a structured approach to create long-term relationships with our suppliers in which we can influence and have secondary control of the process. This effort supports a strong and responsible supply chain. This is also helping the customers meet their own sustainability goals.
Our audit process focuses on suppliers identified as "risk suppliers" and includes an audit report to address concerns, along with a followed-up corrective action plan. As we audit our suppliers, we can control that they meet the standards defined in our Code of Conduct and will continue to improve their practices.
We are proud of the progress we have made within our sustainability efforts but there will always be more to do. Together with our suppliers, we strive towards offering our customers the best practical options for their unique needs.
*The suppliers of products with a brand owned or controlled by a company within Lifting Solutions Group. Whether a country is classified as a "risk country" is determined based on corruption, sanctions, human rights, and environmental protection perspectives.
